During 2000-2005, the Foundation received CHF 2.5 million in gifts from private individuals, initiatives and collection programs from private businesses, contributions from foundations, Board members and co-founders, adding to the initial capital of CHF 1 million.

Despite these encouraging results, fund raising efforts must be continued to raise the estimated CHF 100,000-150,000 necessary each year to fight effectively against Noma in each country.
