Early detection implies training Health care workers and traditional practitioners, but also raising awareness within the community in general and mothers in particular about the
early detection of Noma. Specific Noma modules have
been incorporated into existing curricula of educational
establishments such as medical schools, to familiarize professionals with this disease.
