The Foundation guarantees that 100% of donations will be used for humanitarian work In the field. Its overhead expenses are covered by support from partners and its Board members.

For example:
100 CHF = 1 trained health care worker = 1 village protected against Noma.
Your gift helps to train a health care worker who alone can save the lives of the children of an entire village.
 In all Sun Store (Switzerland) you have the possibility do make a donation, directly through the cashier and you will receive a receipt.

In order to ensure complete financial transparency, accounts for all gifts and their future allocation are presented in the Foundation’s latest activity report. All gifts made to Winds of Hope, a public interest foundation, are tax deductible. Simply enclose a declaration of your donations for the period in question to your tax statements.
For more information on the law concerning Direct Federal Tax (Art. 33 et 59, LIFD) and the Federal Act on the Harmonization of Direct Cantonal and Communal Taxation (art. 9, LHID).
